November Club Series Report
John B simply dominates

I did not get a chance to sail in this regatta because I was visiting with family at my mother-in-laws birthday. I made it to the lake just in time to hand John B his certificate for winning. He scored 6 bullets, and 3 each of 2nd and 3rd place finishes. His total score for 12 heats with one throw out was 18. Tony Rieck was second with 27 points and three bullets Baron edged out Tom Phillips by just 2 points for third place, but Tom got 2 bullets to Baron's one.

John Garver finally got his new Mary Kay pink boat in the water and took home 5th place. He has a new set of John B sails with pink trim to rig and then the boat will be complete. I know John is excited to show her off at the upcoming Jacksonville regatta in December. Brenda Pardee made the trip from Tallahassee again and sailed well to a 6th place finish. She brought her Mother along who took over as score keeper Thanks for the beer too, Brenda.Grant Ward and Martin Gray hung in tough for 7th and 8th places respectively. Every skipper had at least one heat in the top 4 and all but John and Tony had a last place finish. This shows how tight the racing is.

Thank you Tom Germer for RD duties. I did not see your performance, but the guys tell me you did a fine job. The winds gave everyone a hard time as sailing had to be done on the West end of the lake and the building there makes for some swirling conditions.

The final regatta of the season will be in December. The date is TBA. We will let you know as soon as we set it.
