The Sun Coast club currently has(2013) 14 active
EC-12 skippers. The club also sails Soling One Meters (over
70 skippers), US 12’s (over 20 skippers), Micro Magic’s
(over 20 skippers) and a fledgling Laser fleet.
The venue is located in Charlotte County’s South County
Regional Park where there are permanent marks set up for
two different courses to take advantage of various wind directions
with a permanent dock on each side. There is ample parking
and restrooms nearby. There are no wind obstructions such
as fountains, trees or buildings.
