This is the first new Full Season where we will sail 7 events without breaking in the middle of the season for the summer time heat. The new format will start each year in October or November and run through to May or June. For the time being we are calling this the 2011-2012 season, but eventually we will refer to each new season as the year the season ends. So the 2012-2013 season will simply be known as the 2013 season. This new format will allow us to sail our regattas over an unbroken 8 month season which will hopefully give more opportunity to our snowbirds to sail with us and open up our August and September months to host the Nationals from time to time as well as other events, like a proposed Senior's Regatta.
