We are very excited that Disney will be
the venue for this year's EC-12 National Championships.
Pop Century Resort is the newest resort at Walt Disney
World in Orlando, Florida. This value resort is designed
to be a stroll down Memory Lane with larger than life
pop icons from the 1950's through to the 1990's. There
is plenty to do right in the resort. It's three pools,
playgrounds, arcades, shops, and food court, offer quests
a wide selection of activities while the skippers are
sailing.
But when the troops get restless, all
the rest of what Disney has to offer is right at hand.
Buses will take you to all the theme parks and shopping,
and Disney has lowered prices on just about all their
activities for our group.
Disney has blocked off rooms for our group
on the first floor of the building closest to where
we will be sailing. You will literally walk your boat
and gear just a few short yards from your room to the
site. Parking is just as close for those who choose
not to stay at Pop century. But with prices as low as
$59 per night, you will be hard pressed to find a better
deal anywhere.
